Featherspring - Generic

The Featherspring Foot Impression System is designed for you to make your own Foot Imprint in the privacy of your home. It is a very simple process and can be done in less than 10 minutes.

To make your own foot imprint, you just need the following materials:

The FREE Featherspring Information Kit (which contains the Foot Imprint Material)
Paper towels or some newspaper to put on the floor under the Foot Imprint Board.
A level, hard floor, such as in your kitchen or bathroom (you need a level, hard floor to make the best foot imprint).
A pan or sink filled with cold water!

That's all you need to make your own unique Foot Imprint with the Featherspring Foot Impression System.

Once you have these items ready, you will be ready to make your own foot imprint.

Step One

Place paper towels or newspapers on a hard floor. Fill a pan or sink with cold water and then remove your shoes and socks.

Dip the Foot Impression Board under the water for two seconds—REMOVE QUICKLY!

Note:

The Foot Impression Board should be DAMP, not WET.
Only wet the Foot Impression Board one time.

Step Two

Hold the Impression Board over the water and allow the excess water to drain off (perhaps as much as 30 seconds). Again, please note, the board should be damp, not wet.

Step Three

Place the damp Foot Impression Board on the newspaper or paper towel.

Step Four

Place the purple transfer paper centered on the Foot Impression Board. Be sure the purple transfer paper is placed on the Foot Impression Board with the darker, shiny side facing down against the Board.

Note:

Handle the paper very carefully; make sure your fingers are dry, as the transfer paper is very sensitive to moisture. NEVER wet the purple transfer paper!
Not all the transfer paper has writing on it as shown at left—but ALWAYS put the DARK SIDE DOWN.

Step Five
Stand with your feet on each side of the Foot Impression Board with your weight evenly distributed between both feet.

Step Six
Place one foot on the transfer paper and then slowly count to 10. (Try to keep your weight evenly distributed on both feet). Lift your foot straight up (sometimes the Impression Paper will stick to the bottom of your foot—just lift it off).

Step Seven

Turn the Foot Impression Board over and place the transfer paper on it (repeating steps Four through Six). When you take the impression of your other foot, count to 20 while you stand on the Foot Impression Paper.

Note:

Some impressions will be lighter and some darker—this does not affect the technical information required.
You may need to blot the board with paper towels if it is too wet.

Step Eight

Now put your dried completed foot imprints into the enclosed white envelope along with the completed order form, check or payment information. Send it back to us at Featherspring International.
